Re: Problems using STAPL/JAM file
I think I figured out the problem. It seems that there is some contention on the JTAG lines that prevent the signal from being pulled all the way to ground and therefore it's garbage going to the device.

Problems using STAPL/JAM file
Device: Xilinx XC95144XL (ISP) Programmer: 48Pro2C I'm trying to connect to this chip and this is the first time I've ever had to use a STAPL/JAM file with Dataman so hopefully I'm doing something dumb. I've opened iMPACT, added my chip using a bsdl file and created a STAPL/JAM file doing something ...

Re: JTAG Chain Issues
OK, I've solved the problem and it was a mix between user error (of course) and understanding how the specify the JTAG settings inside of the Dataman software. User Error: Not shown in the above diagram was the TRST and RST signals that the Dataman software says should be connected. I had them conne...

JTAG Chain Issues
I have a JTAG chain with 3 physical components (STM32F103RE) that each have 2 JTAG TAP Controllers within them. I would like to connect to the JTAG interface connector using the ISP port on my 48Pro2C programmer but I’m having issues. Test Setup: http://i.imgur.com/9vXcxLO.png Now each device has 2 ...

Nevermind. I must have just fat fingered something before because I got it now.
You just type in the memory address when you save it. I'm dumb....

View/Read Option Bytes on ARM Device
I have a STM32L152RB ARM processor and have successfully connected with the ISP connector on the Dataman 48Pro2C. I can read the device's main memory but I can't read the option bytes. I've set it to read both the main and option bytes and have set it to just read the option bytes but no luck. If I ...

In circuit programming of a PIC
I have a PIC12C and a 48Pro2C and I would like to be able to connect to my PIC with it installed on the PCB, because I'm lazy and dont' want to remove it. What I don't know is how to connect each pin to the programmer. Is the wiring guide to the DIL8W/SOIC8 available anywhere?
