Freescale fails to read ID. passes erase without error, but fails on blank check

Hello zajc3w,

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems working with your devices.

Can I ask you to run the diagnostics(F7) from the Diagnostics menu and let me know the result.

Please also make sure that you have the latest software installed. This can be found on our website here.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello zajc3w,

Are you able to provide more information about the ID errors or a screenshot of the software showing the error?

The 29Fxxx family of devices have been supported for a number of years now and we have not received any complaints about the support.

Are you sure that your chips are good? What is the result if you use the AutoID feature of our software to automatically detect the device in the socket? Does this work at all or is there no match?

Can you confirm that you are running the latest software.

Best regards
Neil Parker
