SUPPORT FOR MC9S12XHZ256?

Postby TS33DDI » 17 Aug 2012 20:11

I'd look up this part# in Dataman's universal software program under device selection and this MC9S12XHZ256 chip was not listed, although the 384 and 512 bits show up. Just curious as to why the 256bit was omitted and also like to know if reading or programming under the 384 and 512 chip selection, will it read and program correctly? Or will MC9S12HZ256 be compatible?

Hello TS33DDI,

In order to program the Freescale MC9S12XHZ256 device in either the LQFP 112 or the LQFP 144 package I would recommend the Dataman-48Pro2 Universal Programmer.

I believe the Dataman 48Pro2 to be the best in its class on the market worldwide at the moment. The Dataman 48Pro2 offers super fast programming speeds and includes advanced features such as ISP capability, USB 2.0 interface and comprehensive software compatible with Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 8 (32-bit & 64-bit). The Dataman 48Pro2 supports over 75,000 devices which is updated every 3 - 4 weeks with each update adding 200 - 300 new chips. Support can be added for missing devices quickly and typically free of charge.

The programmer comes as standard with our 3 year parts and labour warranty, free life-time technical support and software updates. More information can be found on our website.

We provide a 30 day money back guarantee on all our programmers and this programmer comes with a 3 year warranty as standard.

If you have any further queries or would like to get a quotation or order this programmer, please feel free to contact me.

Regards

Neil Parker
