Hello digitalman0282,

Which programmer model are you using? Both 27C512 devices should be compatible as they are exactly the same size. They do use slightly different programming algorithms so you would need need to change the device selection to match that of the device you were programming the data into.

What errors did you see? If you can provide more details I will try to help.

This is the procedure that I make to copy the data from M27c512 into AT27C512R
1. READ the M27C512
2. Save the project
3. I put the AT27C512R load the project and execute the programm
Error Manufacture device
4. I Select the device chip and I select the AT27C512R
5. I EXECUTE the Program
Programming Device Error

Hello Digital man,

Thank you for the information.

Can I ask you to follow the steps as you describe and recreate the error in the software. If you can then use the "Help | Create problem report" feature and send the resulting log file to [email protected] I will be able to analyse the log and hopefully offer a solution.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
