Programming INTEL DT28F016SV-80 SSOP56

Postby MikeyP » 08 Mar 2013 12:13

Hi folks

Just purchased a Dataman 48PRO2C and am tring to program the DT28F016SV-80 SSOP56 device, These already have data in them and I need to erase and reprogram them.

On reading any of these deivices the programmer sees every location as 80h
Erasing and then blank checking these devices fails as the locations stay at 80h
What am I doing wrong?

The SSOP56 programming socket contains the cap as detailed in the device notes

Hope you guys can help

Mike

Hello MikeyP,

We have been unable to recreate the problem as you describe, therefore we have requested a few sample devices from you for our engineers to analyse.

Once we have had a look at the devices I will be able to say more.

I will keep you updated.

Best regards,

Hello MikeyP,

Our engineers have said that this case is quite interesting, the samples you have provided behave differently from our samples.

We have made some modifications to our software which improves the situation when working with your devices.

We are confident that we have fixed the problem, please download the latest OnDemand software version from our website here.

Best regards,

Neil Parker
