Is there a special S4 lib for the Kobetron 2000 check?

Dear Emile,

Only a Kobetron validator can produce a Kobetron signature. We can produce a Dataman signature that is obtained in the same manner as the Kobetron but it has a unique signature (for copyright reasons). We can produce either a Dataman CRC-32 signature using the Lib version 4.05 for S4 or an SHA-1 signature using the SHA-1 Lib version 4.05 for the S4.

I am new to working with a Kobetron I was wondering, what are the benefits to working with this machine and what can you gather from it. Also where can this machine be purchased and about how much do they run?
