i can not get the programmer to erase this chip the programmer i have is the 48lv the the chip is m29w800at keeps hanging up

Hi,

Please select the option of auto-erase/overwrite to enabled in the options menu in the Dataman 48 software. You will then be able to erase your chip.

Hi,

Please provide more details of the nature of the problem. Which programmer do you have, which version of the D48 software are you using?
