I'm trying to program the Am29DL323GB90UI, which is a 48 pin BGA part (I've got the SDP-A320-48F adapter. The AutoID function says "The 48 pin device isn't supported!". It appears that the 63 pin BGA version of this part is supported, though. Is there a way for me program this part?
I'm using software version 4.65 with a Dataman 48LV
Thanks!

Re: 48 pin BGA AMD device
Hi,
The auto ID function only supports 28 and 32 pin DIP EPROM's and Flash chips.
It is possible to damage the chip when performing an auto ID check.
If the auto ID does not return a match this does not mean the chip is not supported, it means that the auto ID feature of the device is not supported. All other functions "program/verify/erase ... are supported.
Hope this helps
