Hello,
I have a Dataman 48LV and I would like to program a PIC12F629. The 12F629 is in the list of supported devices for the 48LV. When I load up the software (I have tried version 3.71 and 4.67) this device is not listed under Microchip or any other vendor. How do I program this device? Thanks.

The PIC 12F629 is listed on the website as being supported under the D48XP model not the LV.
You will need to upgrade your LV to an XP model in order to program that part.
XP upgrade boards are available from us and are priced at £225 + VAT.
With an XP model you can continue to benefit from future device support and will see up to 100% increase in programming speed when working with high density FLASH parts. (32Mbit and above)
