Hello,
we need to program an M48T08 NV RAm with clock. We have only an Dataman 48LV.
This Device is not supported. Is there a possibility to erase the RAM to 0x== at all locations without the clock area?
Is it possible to upgrade this device to an 48uxp?

Re: unsupported M48T08
Hello MartinNoelke,
The ST Microelectronics M48T08 Timekeeper SRAM device is supported on the Dataman-48XP/UXP programmers. When selecting the device our software will inform you of the following:
"The real time clock information resides in the eight uppermost RAM locations. For more information about the clock registers, please refer to the databook."
You have the option of upgrading your LV to a UXP model using the UXP Upgrade kit. This kit can be installed by you using only basic tools and comes with full instructions. The upgrade kit will effectively turn you current programmer into the latest and most up to date version of the programmer that is available. You will enjoy the benefits of Windows XP support, a USB 2.0 port in addition to the standard parallel port for connection to the PC and a whole range of new devices that have been added since the D48LV model was discontinued back in 2003.
Details of the UXP upgrade kit including pricing can be found on our website here.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Neil Parker
