How to use the red cable with S4 ?

Hi Neil,
We found some components in the S4 package,there is the red cable as below attachment .I had searched the manual but no get any information to instuct how to use the red cable.Would you help me?The S4 serial no is No.033394.

Hi,

The cable is for connecting the WRn (write signal) from your board to the write signal of S4 RAM during emulation.
Without that cable, S4 can only emulate EPROMs.
With it, data in the S4 can be modified by your board, so S4 behaves more like RAM.
(Anyway, if you never use the emulation feature then it is of no use to you)
