hi all can any one help me with info on the dataman s4 before i buy i need to know weather it will programme a 27c1028 eprom chip??? many thanks.

Is that a Fujitsu part because that is the only device I can find with that part number. The S4 does not support it unfortunately.
If you meant the 27C1024 then yes the S4 does support several of these devices from different manufacturers.
We do have another programmer the Dataman 40Pro which supports the 27C1028 device. Full details and pricing can be found on our website.
