27c4096 programming

Postby Guest » 14 Nov 2011 16:33

Hi,
I am now needing to program the above stated eprom but as they are 40pin and JEDEC I require the MOD-40 adapter which, from what I can tell, is no longer available. I have the MROM 40/42 pin adapter, is there a DIY mod or anything that I can do or is there an adapter available I can use.

Thanks
JonT

Hello JonT,

The MOD-40 module for the S4 is no longer available and as it is not a simple passive module but has active components such as buffers and an oscillator we do not feel that it suitable for DIY construction.

We can offer you a solution to programming the 27C4096 device in the form of the Dataman-MEMPro.

The MEMPro is part of our low cost range of programmers. As its name suggests it is specialised in supporting memory devices, in fact it supports all of the memory devices found on the S4. A full device support list and product specification can be seen on our main website, in fact the MEMPro is shown on the front page.

The MEMPro is a PC based USB programmer which supports over 11,000 devices. It comes with all the cables and software needed to start programming straight out of the box. The control software is clear and easy to use and is updated on a monthly basis. Updates can be downloaded from our website free of charge.

The programmer comes with a 1 year warranty as standard. We also offer a 30 day money back guarantee so if the programmer doesn't do what you want then simply return it for a full refund.

We do offer a trade in scheme which your S4 would qualify for, if you are interested in this route please contact me directly ([email protected]) for further details.

Regards,

Neil Parker
