Calibration fixture for 48Pro2?

Hello,

I have a BK Precision 866C which I believe is the same as a Dataman 48Pro2 (or Elnec BeeProg2C).
I would like to buy a calibration assembly for it but I can cannot find the calibration assembly on the Dataman website.

Does anyone know if I can order this from Dataman? Elnec sells it on their website but will not ship to the countries in which they have a licensee.

Thanks,
Victor

The reason I am posting here is that BK support for these programmers is non-existent

Thanks,
Victor

Great! Thanks so much.

I placed an order for all the equipment I needed.
Thanks so much for supporting the two programmer I have, where BK is now not supporting them any longer.

Br,
Victor

I just ran the calibration on my unit with the Calibration fixture I received.
It is a very long procedure, but it's nice to know my unit passes all tests and is calibrated.

I do have a question about the calibration. Is the calibration store on the PC or actually downloaded into the programmer?
I'm just concerned that I have run the calibration and if I move the programmer to a different PC, it will no longer be calibrated.

Thank you,
Victor

Hello Victor,

The calibration test is just that, a thorough test to make sure the voltages generated by the programmer hardware are within the necessary ranges. If any of the measured values were outside those ranges, then the calibration would have failed and the programmer would need to be returned to Dataman for repair/re-calibration.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Now I understand. Normally calibration implies that you can set the value.
So this is more of a complete test of every pin driver with no way to "calibrate" it it is out of spec.

Thank you,
Victor
