I used the programing setup you suggested, but the overcurrent error is still not resolved. I tested additional five ICs (devices), the same error persisted in them.
I am also using the correct Dataman-48Pro2 adapter/module: DIL8W/SOIC8 ...

Chip package: SOIC8
Adaptor Socket: 48 pins to fit in zif socket and a 16 in (top) socket

W25Q128FV Device Overcurrent Error
The programmer is unable to read or check the blank device (two different devices). I am getting the "Device overcurrent error".
