Thank you very much for your quick response. Below are the requested information:

Programmer model: Dataman-48PRO2
Chip package: SOIC8
Adaptor Socket: 48 pins to fit in zif socket and a 16 in (top) socket

I do not know how to run self-test. Can you please advise how to do that.

The programmer is unable to read or check the blank device (two different devices). I am getting the "Device overcurrent error".
I get the same error when I tried to program.

Please, I desperately need help. I would be very glad, if someone could assist me in resolving this issue.
