S4 & Firmware Hubs

Postby Guest » 14 Nov 2011 15:31

Hello.

I was wondering if the S4 supports firmware hubs, like SST's 49LF004.

When will the successor to the S4 be out (the S5?)?

Thank you.

Hello,

Unfortunately the Dataman-S4 does not support the SST's 49LF004 device however the new Dataman-S6 Compact USB Programmer does.

The Dataman-S6 is the latest version of the Dataman-Sx range of programmers. Released in April 2013 the Dataman-S6 is powered from the USB port of the host PC/Notebook, so does not require any additional power supply making this a truly portable field capable programming solution.

I believe the Dataman-S6 to be the best in its class on the market worldwide at the moment. The Dataman-S6 is a USB powered 48-pin universal programmer offering super fast programming, USB 2.0 interface and comprehensive software compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Windows 8. The Dataman-S6 supports over 14,000 (April 2013) of the most popular devices which is updated every 3 - 4 weeks with each update adding new chips and features.

Support can be added for missing devices quickly and typically free of charge. The programmer comes as standard with our 3 year parts and labour warranty, free life-time technical support and software updates.

The Dataman-S6 is always available from stock ready for immediate despatch upon receipt of your order.

Best regards,

Neil Parker
