Hi dataman,
I have been trying to read an MX25L12835F with a DIL8W/SOIC8 ZIF 200mil SFlash-1a on a 48PRO2, I believe I am correct in thinking that this is the right adaptor, and it is failing out of hand with a 'bad adpator' failure, EC-30000000.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Cheers

Re: Adaptor Trouble
Hello Gareth,
The device is support as:
Manufacturer: Macronix
Type: MX25L12835F [SOP8] (Quad I/O)
8-bit bytes: 1000200h (16,777,728 Bytes)
Organization: 1000200hx8 bit
Algorithm: Quad I/O SPI
Implemented in ver.: 2.97 or earlier
Modified in ver.: 3.00
Package Info: SOP(8) 200mil
Suitable adaptor for use with 48Pro2:
DIL8W/SOIC8 ZIF 200mil SFlash-1a or
DIL8W/SOIC8 ZIF 200mil SFlash-1 (discontinued)
So yes, you have the correct adaptor.
Can you make sure you are running the latest software version (currently v3.12/03.2015)
Please run the "Selftest..." routine from the Programmer menu and then recreate the error message you mention, once this is captured in the acivity log please use the "Help | Create problem report" feature and send me the resulting log file from your desktop for analysis.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Best regards,
Neil Parker
