PG4UW Minor Softare Bug?

Postby andyrichmond » 15 Apr 2016 10:06

Hello Dataman,

Thought I'd just post this minor bug? that I've seen in the latest PG4UW software v3.23/04.2016.

When I use the "Fill Block" menu item from the "Buffer" dropdown menu and I fill any valid memory location(s) with any value and then I look at the memory window via the "View/Edit" menu item the wrong memory locataion(s) is/are highlighted in green.

I've notice this on several microchip PIC devices so I assume its a generic problem.

I'm using the PikPro programmer in Windows 7 Professional service pack 1.

Regards,
Andy

As soon as I hear back from them, I will post an update here.

Hi Andy,

We have fixed the correct address range for highlighting of changed buffer blocks in the View/Edit buffer window after using the operation "Fill buffer block" (with pattern string) and when the current buffer view mode is x16.

Please download, install and use the latest OnDemand software:
