Can you test logic or memory IC's with the S6?

Want to test some logic IC's with the S6, is this possible?

The Dataman S6 programmer is mainly focused on programming of memory and logic devices.
Please describe exactly what you mean by "test" and for what sort of devices and I will provide my recommendation for the suitable programmer model.
