Xilinx 17S20XL and Dataman 48

Hi All,

We are trying to program a Xilinx 17S20XLVI, when we try to Auto ID this device, the dataman48 indicated that this 8pin device isn't supported.

Is the dataman saying that it does not support device from a programming perspective or from a auto ID perspective?

Can anyone confirm this or otherwise?

We are able to select the device manually, and this allow us to read and blank check the device without any errors.

Now reading the datasheet for the Xilinx 17S20XLVI, it didn't state that this device supported the auto ID function, so I am assuming that the dataman48 is saying that this device does not support auto ID.

thanks,

Hi,

This Xilinx device is supported on the latest Dataman 48 software revision 4.60 which is available free from our software page. You may have to manually select the chip in the software if it will not auto ID.

Hope this helps,

Neil
