I moved the Dataman-48 to a new computer and also upgraded the software. Problem is SGS-Thomson is now known as simply ST in the device library, so I have a bunch of projectfiles that won't load as the chip isn't found. For someone that knows the fileformat it can't be a big task to write a simple conversion utility, has this been done?

Re: SGS-Thomson <-> ST
Hi,
This is a limitation of the project files, It works on the device name, so where the SGS device (saved file) has change to ST you will need to generated a new project file after upgrading to the latest software. You must have a very old software version as there have been many updates since the change of SGS to ST.
So basically the old project file can not find the correct part No. so it will cause an error.
Hope this helps,
Neil
