D48 - 12F675

Postby Guest » 11 Nov 2011 10:49

Hello,

D48 doesn't recognize 12F675, and many other new pics.

Can you update your software V4.64?

Please, don't tell about update D48-XP, it's too expansive, and I don't need it.

Thanks
regards

Nelly

Hi Nelly,

You must ensure that you use Add/Remove in Windows to uninstall your old D48 software before
installing the new version. The PIC 16F877a and PIC 12F675 are definitely supported in software version 5.20.

Hope this helps,

Neil

Hi

The D48 cannot recognise PICs (or any other MCU). Autoidentification works ONLY for parallel EPROMs.
Do not use auto ID for other devices.

So basically that means you have to select the device manually from the menu and then you can program it.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I don't understand. My D48 recognize all pics (it's universal programmer)

Only new pics are not recognized

If I don't select auto-ID, the dataman don't programm 16F877 neither.
