Hi,
I'm trying to install an S6 onto a 64 bit windows 10 system and the DVD that I have has no suitable device drivers. What should I use?

Re: Windows 10 64bit drivers
Hello Robin,
The latest software for the Dataman S6 programmer (software and database) can be found on our website here:
http://www.dataman.com/dataman-s6-resources
This software has been tested and is supported under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 (32-bit & 64-bit) versions.
Please follow this setup procedure:
1) Keep driver signing on without turning it off.
2) Connect the S6 to the PC. Device manager will recognise it as "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)"
3) Install software + database.
4) uninstall the "Unknown USB Device" from Device Manager (right click).
5) Unplug S6, and re-connect.
6) It will then be recognized as "USB Serial Device" under "Port" in Device manager.
7) Update driver > Browse computer for driver > choose subfolder "usbdrv" in the "dataman" folder > OK
8) The proper driver is then installed.
Please let me know if this improves the situation.
If you continue to experience problems getting it installed on your PC then please provide details of the error message you are seeing and I will try to help.
Best regards,
Neil Parker
