Hi,
i have a Datamn S4 and i want to retrieve the code from AT89C2051, in order to copy to another controller after a few development. Is there any way to do that with S4? If yes how?

The Atmel AT89C2051 device in the 20pin DIP package is supported on the Dataman S4 programmer, it requires the AVR module which can be seen on our website here.

The AT89C2051 device does have protection options which allow you to protect the device from being read. If the device you wish to copy is protected then you will not be able to read the data from it using the S4 or any other programmer. If however the master device is unprotected, then you will be able to read the data out.
