DATAMAN 48XP and ATMEL AT17C128/256

I have done the upgrade DATAMAN48LV to 48XP because we had problem to program EPROM from ATMEL, AT17C128 or AT17C256 (with 8 pin) DIP8. But now we have the same problem, it seem when DATAMN48XP goes to program the device the software not respond. It is possible to check and verify but not to program ¿?. I have EPP port and the last version of software. ¿What it is happening?

Hi,
I have just tried programming the AT17C128 chip on my Dataman 48XP using the latest software revision 5.60 and it programmed and verified with no problems.
Please send me the file that you are trying to program direct to
[email protected] so that I can see if I can program your file onto my chip here at Dataman, if I can then it is likely that you have a faulty or damaged chip.

We looked into this here at Dataman and could not replicate the error. We have had no reports of this nature sinse.
