Labtool 48 adding devices

Hi, I own a Labtool-48 which I understand is similar or same as the dataman 48. I tried asking Advantech but to response, anyways, I need to be able to program TMS2532 and 2732 eproms, so I'm just wondering if these devices can be added. I'm kinda surprised these eproms are not in the drop down list.

any help appreciated, thank you

Hello GGG75,

The original Dataman-48 (and 48LV/XP/UXP versions) support the 2732 device under several manufacturers, I would suggest trying the Toshiba TMM2732 or ST 2732 selection. The TMS2532 device is however not supported on this programmer model.

We do have a solution for reading and programming these devices, both of which are supported on the Dataman-40Pro.

I believe the Dataman 40Pro to be the best in its class on the market worldwide at the moment. The Dataman 40Pro offers fast programming speeds and includes advanced features such as ISP capability, USB 2.0 interface and comprehensive software compatible with Windows XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8 and 10. The Dataman 40Pro supports over 33,000 devices which is updated every 3 - 4 weeks with each update adding hundreds of new chips. Support can be added for missing devices quickly and typically free of charge.

The programmer comes as standard with our 3 year parts and labour warranty, free life-time technical support and software updates. The specification and further information can be found on our website.

We offer a 30 day no quibble money back guarantee with this programmer, however to date we have never had one returned, and quite honestly I do not expect to.

We currently have the Dataman 40Pro programmer in stock and on receipt of payment can dispatch the same day.

We also offer a trade-in scheme which maybe of interest - you can trade in any existing programmer (regardless of brand or condition) and receive a discount off a new programmer. Your Labtool-48 programmer would be eligible for this scheme. If this is of interest, please let me know and I will provide further details.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Best regards,

Thanks for your help Neil. I'm not sure I can afford buying another programmer right now. What would be the trade in value of the labtool48?
