Good day
I need help with programming 24c04 eeprom.
What is the pin connections on the zip socket ?

Are you asking where the chip must be placed in the ZIF socket, or something else? Please specify exactly what you need.

Hello,
All chips in DIP/DIL package must be placed at the bottom of the ZIF socket with the pin 1 notch pointing up, away from you.

Thank for the info.
I tried as suggested at the bottom of the ZIF socket but error "No ACK from ROM" and I have selected the proper EEPROM.

Hello,
If you are programming the 24C04 device then you must be using the "
S4 Serial lib. V3.21" which requires the S4 Serial Module. We no longer have the Serial module available to purchase but the pinout details can be found on our website here:
https://www.dataman.com/dataman-s4-serial-adapter allowing you to create your own programming socket.
