ATMEL ATF2500C

Postby CHERON Maxime » 26 Feb 2015 14:21

Hello Mr Smith

Here are the differences between programming file from Dataman 48+ and from DATA I/O programmer

Dataman Programmer
BAD
«
QF71816*
F0*
L000000 01111111111111111011111111111111* »

MASTER
Data I/O Programmer
GOOD
« QP0040*
QF71816*
F0 *
L000000 11111111111111111011111111111111 *»

The difference has been noticed that is 0 instead of a 1 on the fisrt data.
I used FF blanking mode.
The checksum is different with -1 in value for exemple :
4582 is good and is the value expected
and with the Dataman programmer, i have 4581.

Thank you in advance
Best regards

Hello Maxime,

Can you provide some more information about the situation.

Where are you getting the data, from a file on the PC or from reading a chip?

Can you provide a copy of this file? (email to [email protected])

What is the result of reading a known good chip using the Dataman? And also what is the result if this data is used to program a new device? Does it work OK?

If you are also able to provide a problem report showing your actions it would be helpful. Please use the (Help | "Create problem report") feature in the software and email the resulting log file to [email protected] for analysis.

Best regards,

Hello Mr PARKER,
The G1387C01_master.JED file is the MASTER the U1_DATAMAN_CCEBh_with FF.JED is the file reading after the programing .for program a chip, and
I am unfortunately not able to make a problem report file because the programmer is not close to me.

I can’t see a good component with the Dataman programmer , we made two tests , one with a master component and a second from a source file.
In case 2 , if the first fuse is "1" in file or component MASTER, it remains at " 0" in the new component. then the component is bad ( checksum -1)

then , if the first fuse is "0" in the file or component MASTER, it remains at " 0" in the new component. and the component is good ( checksum ok)

Hello Maxime,

Based on information received from another customer regarding this device our engineers have been able to implement an improvement in the algorithm for the Atmel ATF2500C device.

Please download, install and use the latest OnDemand software:
