Using multiple programmers on 1 computer

Hello,
I want to know if it's possible to use multiple dataman programmers connected to 1 computer. I have 2 dataman programmers, so it seems silly not to be able to use them both and get the best workflow going.
i have a 48pro+ and a 40 pro.
How do i do it??

Hello mypinballs,
While it is possible to connect multiple Dataman programmers up to one PC to create a gang programmer, it only works with similar 48pin models. The 48Pro+ and the 40Pro will not work together as a gang.

So would it work with 2 48pro+ units??
And it is possible to maybe add this functionality? As they are all official dataman products

Yes, that is correct. You can have up to four 48Pro+ programmers connected to the same PC.
The latest software version that supports the 48Pro+ is v3.76++ available to download from our website
here.
Fore more information, please reference page 37 of the
user manual for the 48Pro+.

Great thanks, that gives me an option if i find another 48pro+.
But what's the reason why you can't use 2 different dataman models on 1 computer? It would be very useful to be able to use them independently within the same program, or be able to run 2 instances of the software etc.

While the D40Pro is a highly capable tool, it is specifically designed for development and low-volume use rather than mass production. For this reason, it does not support PG4UWMC or multiple software instances. This is a purposeful design specification to ensure the device is used within its intended environment.
