Device orientation in adaptor

Postby Guest » 10 Nov 2011 10:00

I have just received a 48UXP and SDP-UNIV-32TS adaptor. There is no indication of the orientation for the device in the adaptor when the device socket lies perpendicular to the ZIF socket on the 48UXP.

Can anyone point me to that info or let me know please?

David,

There are only two possibly positions the chip could assume. I would advise you to try both. There is no danger of damaging the device as the programmer has an incorrect insertion warning system.
Most of our adaptors have pin 1 marked somewhere on the PCB.
