Hello,

I am trying to read or program a AM29LV256MH123REI Nor Flash with SDP-A256M-56TS adapter,

but I can't read or program.

The error message tell me that the Device Id is wrong.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello alexmx,

I will assume that you have the Dataman48XP/UXP programmer from the adaptor reference you gave.

The AM29LV256MH device in the TSOP56 package is supported on this programmer and should not give you a Device ID error. You can try going into the Device Operation Options (F4) and un-checking the Device ID Check box.

Sometimes the chip manufacturers reduce the die size in their chips and while the devices remain electrically identical they change the device ID value and dont tell anyone.

If you could let me know if disabling the Device ID check options helps or not we can look into it further.
