please let's try to get the XICOR X28HC64 working. It would be still very helpful for me.
Right now, if I choose this Device the Buttons Erase and BlankCheck are disabled.
After program new device - verify fails.

I checked my adaptor socket. It's straight through all pins available. S6 self test passed.
I get error if i use Insertion detection on both AT28HC64 and X28HC64 same:
