Atmel 89c2051 adapter

I recently wired up an adapter for the Atmel uC like 89C2051 but I cannot read or write to the chips. I've double checked the wiring and added the bypass cap but no luck. Has anyone found any "tricks" to using this adapter? Or any known problems?

Hi,

Atmel 89C2051 is supported ONLY on S4 AVR module. It used to be supported on that home-made adaptor a long time ago.
Unfortunately that software has never worked reliably.
