The Philips 89C51Rx2 series of microcontroller has two special registers called status byte and boot vector. I would like to know how to write them using S4 programmer.

Hi,
Please slect Phillips i.e 89C51RA+
Then press FUNC QUICK, you will see the text:
EDIT & BURN EXTRAS
Edit STATUS:00
-----------You can modify status and press enter
Edit BOOT: 00
-----------You can modify boot and press enter
BURN BITS 1,2,3 ? 1
----------You can specify 1,2 or 3 and press enter
You can also specify 0 for 0 lock bits.
The status and boot is then burned into the chip.
