With the dataman I can program a CY7C371i chip, but when I recompile the same code to the 37032 (ULTRA 37000 Family)using the latest CYPRESS software, and then program it with the DATAMAN (with latest software). The DATAMAN indicates the everything programmed fine, but the chip won't work. The newer chip is a pin for pin drop in to replace the older family.Cypress checked the code and says it's fine.

Re: CYPRESS ULTRA37000 problem
Hi Bill,
Can you try reading the chip back into the buffer of the Dataman 48 and ensure that the data read back from the chip is correct, if it is then this chip is programming correctly and the fault is likely to be in the target system.
Regards,
Neil
