Respectful Sir,
I live in Pakistan and i have 48 PRO+ Serial No. 469-03085.
I bought it online through dataman website in January, 2009 ...
I need your help because i have a problem that,
I am unable to read/ reprogram to AT88SC 0102 eeprom.
Actually i am not professional programmer and i program
Flash devices of almost Digital Satellite Receivers..
Mentioned device is placed in so many Digital Satellite Receiver's
models and companies & its common issue in my place ....
I hope you will guide me step-by-step to read and write to this device.....

In addition to the information we provide in our software I recommend that you reference the datasheet in order to understand exactly how this device operates.

It is worth noting that it has a security feature which, if set, means that you will not be able to read or copy the contents to a new device.

If you have any specific questions about working with this device on our programmer, please provide details of exactly what you are trying to do and I will see if I can help.

The software has a feature under the "Help" menu called "Create problem report". Please use this to create a problem report showing all the steps you have taken and email it to [email protected] for analysis.

Kindly guide me how do i program new device if i have its bin file ?.... Its the most head aching issue for me this time......

As I am not sure where you are running into problems, I will start from the beginning.

With the AT88SC0104C [SOIC8] device selected in the software please click on the Load button and navigate to your binary file, click Open. Your file will now be loaded into the software.

Next, click on the "Program" button and you will be presented with the following window: Depending on your requirements you will need to select the "User memory" option and if required, the "Configuration Memory and Security Fuses" option. With these options set as required, simply hit the Yes button and programming will begin.

If you encounter any errors or messages then please use the "Help menu > Create problem report" feature and email the resulting log file to [email protected] for analysis.

Dear Nartsuk,

If the device is protected, then there is no possibility of reading the data from it.

If the device is not protected, then simply place it into the ZIF socket of the programmer and hit the "Read" button. The contents and device settings will be copied into the buffer and can then be saved out to your desktop as a binary or HEX file.
